Located near the Canadian Wilderness is home of the German Shepherd and Belgian Malionois. Delta Kennel has been a trusted breeder of the German Shepherd for around 20 years. The breed is our specialty and Passion. The Beauceron is close to our hearts and we strive everyday to show everyone what these dogs are capable of. Delta has always been a working kennel first. We may have conformation worthy dogs, but they had to prove themselves in a working ring first. We breed for health, temperament and work ability. Never for color. Both breeds were originally bred for working purposes, not color. And that's the way we plan to keep them.
We strive to produce a balanced dog with exceptional nerve and temperament coupled with strong drives and work ethic and a thinking, sensible character. In short, the type of widely versatile dog the German Shepherd was designed to be. Dogs from our kennel are currently working and training in schutzhund/IPO, herding, law enforcement, search and rescue, farm work, competitive agility, obedience and tracking, and are serving as loyal family companions and protectors across the sims community.
Delta is the proud owner of the Beauceron Breed Club at the Sims United Kennel Club, as well as the first kennel to introduce this wonderful breed to the community. We also have a famous line of shepherds known as the 'Delta Line'. These are dogs with 'Delta's The Batman x Delta's First In Line SCH.' in their bloodlines. It can be found in many of todays shepherds at the SKC and SUKC.
January 28th, 2016: I have finally moved all dogs from my Misc. site, back over to this one. Having all these websites for my dogs was too much. So if you can't find those dogs, they are back here.
December 12th, 2015: Quick update. Devil's Backbone Von Ruelmann, one of our foundation Rottweiler's has titled in protection(if the points are right). He is also scheduled for a breeding at Pixie's kennel next month, to a bitch we actually planned to look into! Excited for this litter.
December 12th, 2015: One of our Malinois bitch's, Nori, as one her Weight Pull title in Heath's latest Weight Pull trial. We are so proud of her! That means pups from her first litter now have two WCP. title parents. This also means I can start planning the breeding with her original boyfriend, Kalas. Who is also a WPC, as well as a WDC. He will also be up for stud now. Azi also have birth to her litter, and we are keeping a male. No pictures as of yet.
November 17th, 2015: A stud has been found for Azi, coming from her original breeder. We are so excited for this! Lucifer, our black malinois has also gained his Conformation title. We couldn't be happier. We thought it would never happen because he's black, which is a huge color fault for the breed. I have a bitch in mind to breed him too, but I won't go ahead with it until I fully fix my game.
I've also decided to drop the Beauceron as a main breed. It's a breed I can't do justice in game, so I'll leave them alone. I may pick up the American Akita(or the original Japanese one) as my second main breed. I'm also going through all dog pages that compete at the SUKC to update their conformation scores, since the systems have changed.
November 13th, 2015: It's Friday the 13th, but we got lucky today. Azi, our female Belgian Malinois from Loups, has gained her obedience title! I've been waiting for this for a long while. She's also got the points for a protection title, but not the placements. She's getting older, and most of her siblings have been retired. She's getting ready for hers as well, but I really wanted her to title soon. And she has! So proud of this girl! I am on the look out for a stud for her before she retires. I'd love to keep her line around(since it feels like it's dying). If I can't find a suitable stud, she will retire with peace.
October 21st, 2015: I have decided to keep Delta on it's original website it's been at since 2012. With that decision I've updated it's look, and things are more organized now. I will probably still work on it, but the main part is finished. So it's just little tweaks now. We are still patiently waiting for the new SKC to return. And with it's return, we've retired a good handful of dogs so we could start with a smaller number. Great focus will be put into these dogs to get them the titles they deserve, and to show the community just how far Delta Kennel as come!
